UN Poster for Peace Contest

In commemoration of the 70th anniversary of the first UN General Assembly resolution establishing the goal of eliminating nuclear weapons and all weapons of mass destruction, the United Nations Office for Disarmament Affairs is sponsoring a UN Poster for Peace Contest.

Artists of any age can enter, and the contest is open to all people in all countries. Children below the age of 13 need to have permission of their parents or a legal guardian.

Art work must be original, submitted by the artist. It should be developed such that it could be displayed in a 60 by 90 centimetres (2 feet x 3 feet) format.

Entries should be uploaded to the 2016 Disarmament Poster Contest website.

The contest ends on 24 January 2016. Entries will be judged on creativity, composition, theme and technique. Winners will be announced on 5 March 2016.
