Novis Vita Juicer has announced a soup recipe contest. The one requirement is that the soup recipe needs to utilize a juicer.

Top prize is a $500 Novis Vita Juicer.

To enter, go to NovisUSA facebook page and click on "Comment." Type in recipe and email address.

The soup can be hot or cold, just make sure a juicer is utilized.The contest runs from April 20 through May 20. The winner will be selected and announced on May 21, 2016.

Eggland's Best 'America's Best Recipe' Contest

From Hawaiian pineapples to Rhode Island johnnycakes to Huckleberry Pancakes from Montana, every state has an ingredient or food that evokes state pride. Put your state pride to good use, by entering an original recipe that pairs Eggland's Best eggs with a locally-sourced ingredient or food from your state.

Submit original recipes in four different recipe categories (Breakfast/Brunch, Appetizer, Main Course, and Dessert) using at least two whole Eggland's Best eggs and a local ingredient or food from your state. Deadline for entries is April 29.

The highest scoring recipe in each state will be deemed "Best in State" and will be organized into five regions (Northeast, Southeast, Midwest, Southwest, West). A panel of Eggland's Best judges will select the five "Best in Region" recipes and an online vote by consumers will determine which recipe deserves the title "America's Best Recipe!"

The Grand Prize winner will receive $10,000 and a year supply of Eggland's Best eggs. "Best in Region" winners will receive $1,000 and a year supply of Eggland's Best eggs and "Best in State" winners will receive an Eggland's Best prize pack which will include a month supply of Eggland's Best eggs.

Owners of Bob & Angie’s Hometown Cafe in Clay City, Indiana, are turning over the warranty deed to their business at 711 Main Street to the winner of an essay contest in which contestants mail in 200-word essays explaining “why I would like to own and operate a restaurant” accompanied by a $150 cashier’s check or money order.
